It is so incredible watching Sivan grow up, seeing the ways she learns and what she discovers about herself and the way she fits into her world. Lately we have noticed a growing awareness of how we react to her. It started with a simple narrowing of her eyes, and it has grown from there, with a few silly faces, often played to effect for Michal. Tonight, though, she was in her glory.
She is just the sweetest, silliest girl. For the longest time, I think I assumed she would be quieter than Michal, making room for her big sister's antics and silliness. Apparently I might be wrong.
