Day 248: Museuming

We were lucky today that good friends from Philadelphia decided to come spend the weekend in DC - our schedules make it difficult for us to try to get up there, so we were really excited they happened to head our way.  We met them downtown at the Smithsonian Museum of American History.

Sivan took a moment to learn about the Civil War.

Sisters learning about rifling increasing the accuracy of firearms.

Finally on to slightly less violent topics - in the same exhibit where we saw Dorothy's ruby slippers and the video camera that recorded images from 9/11, the girls checked out a cello and wedding dress.
