I love this. Sivan loves to sit in my lap (or on me, or laying on me, or basically being within touching distance of me), and I love having her there. She nestles in perfectly and it's just heaven.

Day 307: 5:00 Snuggles
She is so lucky she's adorable. These 5:00 wake up calls are so not cool. And from this picture, you'd never know she was up and practically bouncing with delight at being awake. She is a sweet girl, loving to snuggle lately and I refuse to take it for granted.

Day 306: Dancing Queen
Sivan doesn't have many words - milk, Mickey, hi and bye - that's essentially it. But she has some sounds that she uses to try to communicate and let us know what she wants. It's usually something like "oooooooch," where the "ch" is a gutter all sound, like the "ch" in Michal's name. So we got home and we're hanging out in the living room, waiting for Josh and Michal to get home, and she starts doing this "ooooch ooooch thing. I finally realize she wants music to dance to. I turn on Amazon Music, Uptown Funk, I think, and she begins to twist her torso. Silly girl. Here are a couple of pictures from the dance party.

Day 305: Daylight Savings Pain
Good morning from 5:00am. I have no idea why she woke up as early as she did. Normally, she wakes up around 6:45/7:00, which with the time shift would be 5:45/6. So she woke up at 5:00am. That was super awesome, especially since Michal was up around 2:00. So, with bleary eyes, we figured out how to get Mickey up on the tv to appease this cute little monster. It's gonna be a long day.

Day 304: Halloween!
Happy Halloween from our two Star Wars kiddos! Michal is dressed up as Rey from the new Star Wars movie that will come out in December. Sivan was going to be Princess Leia, but the costume was a little small. Fortunately a friend had a yoda costume that worked nicely.
Look - she's wearing her costume and NOT crying. And I've never seen a cuter Yoda.
Sivan really got into trick or treating. She spent the first bit in the stroller, but then she decided to join the party. She was a little slower than the other kids but boy did she dig going up to people, waving hello, and then getting to say "bye" after they put something in her bag. She has no idea what candy is but she LOVES meeting new people.

Day 303: Halloween Parade
Today was the Halloween Parade at the elementary school. Super excited for this first holiday experience at school for her big sister.
Scouting out the parade route.
