Normally I miss activities that fall on Sundays - birthday parties are the main event I miss because of work, but occasionally I miss really cool things. Fortunately, Josh is around to make sure the kids don't miss out. The local Jewish private school plans the occasional STEM day of activities that the faculty present for preschool children, which often falls on a Sunday morning. Luckily, today's event was in the afternoon and I was able to join them. Sivan tagged along.
In addition to some music and art, Michal really enjoyed the physics activities, learning about push and pull and the forces that can speed up or slow down an object's progress. One such activity involved a tube and a ping pong ball, and Michal experimented with how the angle at which she held the tube impacted the speed and distance traveled by the ping pong ball.
Sivan watched on, clearly soaking everything up. Physicist by osmosis.
